Encounter at Huntsville.

I had the chance to go to prison in Huntsville. It was my first time to ever go so as usual I was pretty nervous. The prison that I went to was the Holliday Unit, and the prison ministry that we went with was Bill Glass Champions for Life. Thursday night I had to go to an orientation, then met up with everyone else in the worship service to help get us ready to go on Friday and Saturday. Bill Glass came up and talked to us and he said don't be nervous or asking yourself what did I get myself into because the Holy Spirit was going to speak through you. You are a microphone for God. So after that I went to bed and man I couldn't hardly sleep!! When I had to get up I was getting pretty nervous again because we were going to do this no matter what. I found myself pacing back and forth in my hotel room saying, "Holy Spirit speak through me" over and over. Got to the prison and still saying the same thing "Holy Spirit speak through me". Got into the pods were the inmates sleep and shower and I could really sense that Satan and his demons were there and present. Once the inmates started to wake up God started moving. At first I didn't talk to anybody, but then the Holy Spirit got me talking. There was one guy by the name of Jason. I really felt he and I really connected or like we clicked. I could tell he was a believer in fact he said that he got saved in prison and prison was the best thing for him. He also had the time of day, month, and what day it was. I encouraged him stay in the Word and try to find a Christian group to get into, because if you don't, Satan will attack you even more if your not plugged in. Out of the 2000 inmates there at the Holliday Transfer Unit, there were 260 first time desicions and 396 re dedications to Christ. 656 of 2000 or 33%
